Built-in preset

Touchpad Zones preset

Touchpad Zones turns the DualSense touchpad into four soft buttons. Touch the top-left quarter for Undo, top-right for Redo, bottom-left for Copy, bottom-right for Paste, each with a short pulse so you feel which one you hit. Pressing the pad down is a left click and a two-finger tap is a right click. The four zones ship inside the preset and show on the touchpad in the Live Visualizer and in Calibrate Touchpad.

Four zones on the pad send Undo, Redo, Copy, and Paste with a pulse; the press clicks and a two-finger tap right-clicks

Where it is in the app

It ships inside InputConfig: open the sidebar and look in its folder, or search for it. Activate it, or press Edit to see every row. It is also here as a file, identical apart from being inactive and ungrouped, for anyone who deleted theirs or wants it on another Mac.

Notes

Zones belong to this preset, so redrawing them in Calibrate Touchpad (from a touchpad row's Options) changes nothing anywhere else. Swap the keys in each row for anything you use more, or add a fifth zone in the middle for a shortcut you reach for constantly.

Download

Open a downloaded preset with InputConfig, or drag it onto the app icon. It lands in the sidebar, ready to activate or edit. Any launch target inside a preset file is cleared on import; add one yourself in the editor if you want it.
