One-Stick Driving preset
One-Stick Driving runs the whole car from one joystick, for the PlayStation Access Controller, the Xbox Adaptive Controller, or any single stick. Push forward to accelerate, pull back to brake, left and right to steer, and snap the stick back twice to shift into Reverse. Let go and the car slows on its own, the way a power chair stops when you release the stick.
This preset ships inside InputConfig, free on the Mac App Store. macOS 14 or later, no account, no tracking, open source.

Where it is in the app
It ships inside InputConfig: open the sidebar and look in its folder, or search for it. Activate it, or press Edit to see every row. It is also here as a file, identical apart from being inactive and ungrouped, for anyone who deleted theirs or wants it on another Mac.

10 rows. Button names are the Xbox / PlayStation pair the editor shows; a Switch Pro Controller fires by position. Options are the row settings that differ from the defaults.
One-stick driving
This preset has one-stick driving switched on: the left stick steers by the A and D keys, forward presses W and back presses S, and 2 quick snaps back within 700 ms shift into reverse.
Notes
- The stick is not in the rows. The One-Stick Driving section at the bottom of the editor owns it: stick and slot, deadzone, steering and throttle curves, keys or mouse steering, the coast brake, and the reverse gesture.
- The rows are the buttons. Handbrake, horn, boost, reset, gears, camera and rewind.
- Access Controller base profile. Only Cross (the center button), Circle (socket 5) and Options (socket 7) send.
- The game's own keys. Change the letters to match them.
Tune the stick in the One-Stick Driving section, not in the rows.

To add a downloaded preset: drop the file on InputConfig's Dock icon, or click the … button next to any preset in the sidebar, choose Import Preset File, and pick the file. It lands in the sidebar, ready to activate or edit. Any launch target inside a preset file is cleared on import; add one yourself in the editor if you want it.
