Access Controller preset
This preset ships inside InputConfig, free on the Mac App Store. You don't have to make an account, there are no subscriptions, and nothing is locked. Optimized for Apple silicon.
Access Controller is built for the PlayStation Access Controller. Out of the box its base profile sends Cross from the center button, Circle from socket 5, Options from socket 7, and the stick, so the stick is the pointer, the center button clicks, socket 5 right-clicks, and socket 7 opens Spotlight. It runs the whole desktop from one hand and is the preset to start from for any layout on that controller.

Where it is in the app
It ships in the Desktop & Productivity folder of the sidebar. Activate it, or press Edit to see every row. The file below is the same preset, inactive and ungrouped.

14 rows. Button names are the Xbox / PlayStation pair the editor shows; a Switch Pro Controller fires by position. Options are the row settings that differ from the defaults.
Notes
- Rows for the other buttons. Square, Triangle, L1, R1, L2, R2 and Create carry double click, Return, scroll up and down, hold Command, Space, and Mission Control, and fire when the active profile sends them. To put one on a socket instead, press Scan on its row and press the socket: since 1.8 it is bound by its number and keeps working whichever profile is active.
- Shortcuts from one hand. L2 holds Command, so a press on any other socket while it is held becomes a shortcut: Command with Cross is Command-click.
- Profiles. Over USB-C, the Profile chip in the Live Visualizer lists the controller's three profiles, switches them and edits one. Rows bound by socket number work in all three.
- Drift. Raise the deadzone on the four stick rows.
Every socket reaches the Mac by name, so Scan puts any job on any socket, with no PS5 needed.

To add one, drop the file on InputConfig's Dock icon, or see importing a preset. It arrives inactive, and any launch target in it is cleared.
