Web Browsing preset
This preset ships inside InputConfig, free on the Mac App Store. You don't have to make an account, there are no subscriptions, and nothing is locked. Optimized for Apple silicon.
Web Browsing extends the desktop layout with the shortcuts a browser uses all day: back and forward on the bumpers, previous and next tab on the triggers, new tab on Y, close tab on X, and the address bar on the Back / Share button. The left stick is the pointer, the right stick scrolls, A clicks and B right-clicks. It works in Safari, Chrome, Firefox, and Arc because it sends the shortcuts they share. Where it is in the app
It ships inside InputConfig: open the sidebar and look in its folder, or search for it. Activate it, or press Edit to see every row. It is also here as a file, identical apart from being inactive and ungrouped, for anyone who deleted theirs or wants it on another Mac.

18 rows. Button names are the Xbox / PlayStation pair the editor shows; a Switch Pro Controller fires by position. Options are the row settings that differ from the defaults.
Notes
- Auto-switch. Add the browser to the preset's auto-switch list and the preset activates itself when the browser comes to the front.
- Typing by voice. Put Start Dictation on a spare button to type addresses and searches.
Auto-switch is what makes it feel built in: pick up the pad, bring the browser forward, and it is ready.

To add a downloaded preset: drop the file on InputConfig's Dock icon, or click the … button next to any preset in the sidebar, choose Import Preset File, and pick the file. It lands in the sidebar, ready to activate or edit. Any launch target inside a preset file is cleared on import; add one yourself in the editor if you want it.
