Where it is in the app

It ships inside InputConfig: open the sidebar and look in its folder, or search for it. Activate it, or press Edit to see every row. It is also here as a file, identical apart from being inactive and ungrouped, for anyone who deleted theirs or wants it on another Mac.

3 rows. Button names are the Xbox / PlayStation pair the editor shows; a Switch Pro Controller fires by position. Options are the row settings that differ from the defaults.

Notes

  • Modifiers keep working. No row fires on a plain press, so Command, Option and Shift still work in every shortcut.
  • Timing. The hold is 450 ms and the double-tap window 300 ms; open a row's Options to change either.

Because nothing fires on a plain press, it never gets in the way of your shortcuts.

Download

To add a downloaded preset: drop the file on InputConfig's Dock icon, or click the … button next to any preset in the sidebar, choose Import Preset File, and pick the file. It lands in the sidebar, ready to activate or edit. Any launch target inside a preset file is cleared on import; add one yourself in the editor if you want it.
