Motion Cursor preset
This preset ships inside InputConfig, free on the Mac App Store. You don't have to make an account, there are no subscriptions, and nothing is locked. Optimized for Apple silicon.
In this showcase preset, you tilt the whole controller and the pointer moves with it, returning to the same spot when the controller returns to the same angle. The face buttons click and the right stick scrolls. For someone who can hold a controller but cannot work a stick, it is a real alternative to a mouse. It works on the DualSense, DualSense Edge and DualShock 4, and on the 2026 Steam Controller (experimental).
Slower than Gyro Aim, with clicks and scrolling on the buttons; good for couch desktop use on a DualSense or DualShock 4
Where it is in the app
It ships inside InputConfig: open the sidebar and look in its folder, or search for it. Activate it, or press Edit to see every row. It is also here as a file, identical apart from being inactive and ungrouped, for anyone who deleted theirs or wants it on another Mac.

11 rows. Button names are the Xbox / PlayStation pair the editor shows; a Switch Pro Controller fires by position. Options are the row settings that differ from the defaults.
Notes
- Re-center. R1 makes the current tilt the neutral and puts the pointer in the middle of the screen.
- Move without moving the pointer. Hold L1.
- A shaky hand. Lower Speed on the motion rows.
Lower the speed before anything else if the pointer feels jumpy.

To add a downloaded preset: drop the file on InputConfig's Dock icon, or click the … button next to any preset in the sidebar, choose Import Preset File, and pick the file. It lands in the sidebar, ready to activate or edit. Any launch target inside a preset file is cleared on import; add one yourself in the editor if you want it.
