FPS (Xbox) preset
This preset ships inside InputConfig, free on the Mac App Store. You don't have to make an account, there are no subscriptions, and nothing is locked. Optimized for Apple silicon.
This is the Xbox layout for first-person games with no controller support. It is the same scheme as the DualSense preset with Xbox button positions, so an Xbox player's habits carry over: A jumps, B crouches, X reloads, Y swaps weapons, LB and RB are grenade and melee.

Where it is in the app
It ships inside InputConfig: open the sidebar and look in its folder, or search for it. Activate it, or press Edit to see every row. It is also here as a file, identical apart from being inactive and ungrouped, for anyone who deleted theirs or wants it on another Mac.

24 rows. Button names are the Xbox / PlayStation pair the editor shows; a Switch Pro Controller fires by position. Options are the row settings that differ from the defaults.
Notes
- Other Xbox-style pads. It works unchanged with the Stadia controller and 8BitDo pads in X mode, which share the Xbox layout.
- Aim and auto-switch. Tune aim on the right-stick rows, and add the game to auto-switch so the preset follows it.
Habits from an Xbox carry straight over, because every action sits where Xbox shooters put it.

To add a downloaded preset: drop the file on InputConfig's Dock icon, or click the … button next to any preset in the sidebar, choose Import Preset File, and pick the file. It lands in the sidebar, ready to activate or edit. Any launch target inside a preset file is cleared on import; add one yourself in the editor if you want it.
