FPS (PS5 DualSense) preset

The DualSense layout for first-person games that only take a keyboard and mouse. Movement on the left stick, aim on the right with variable sensitivity, R2 fires and L2 aims down sights, and the rest of the standard shooter set sits where console players expect it. The touchpad press opens the map.

Where it is in the app

It ships inside InputConfig: open the sidebar and look in its folder, or search for it. Activate it, or press Edit to see every row. It is also here as a file, identical apart from being inactive and ungrouped, for anyone who deleted theirs or wants it on another Mac.

25 rows. Button names are the Xbox / PlayStation pair the editor shows; a Switch Pro Controller fires by position. Options are the row settings that differ from the defaults.

Notes

Tune aim on the four right-stick rows: speed for turn rate, inner deadzone for drift, and the curve for feel. Add gyro aim from the gyro page for fine adjustments from the wrist. The gaming guide covers confine, recenter, and polling rate.

Download

Open a downloaded preset with InputConfig, or drag it onto the app icon. It lands in the sidebar, ready to activate or edit. Any launch target inside a preset file is cleared on import; add one yourself in the editor if you want it.
