Built-in preset

Fortnite preset

Fortnite has controller support, but a keyboard-and-mouse layout driven from a controller keeps mouse aim and instant building on the pieces you choose. This preset puts wall, floor, ramp, and cone on quick keys, edit on a bumper, and the weapon slots on the D-pad.

WASD + mouse-look; bumpers/d-pad place Wall/Floor/Stairs/Roof, R3 edit, LT aim

Where it is in the app

It ships inside InputConfig: open the sidebar and look in its folder, or search for it. Activate it, or press Edit to see every row. It is also here as a file, identical apart from being inactive and ungrouped, for anyone who deleted theirs or wants it on another Mac.

Notes

Because the game sees keyboard and mouse, it places you in keyboard lobbies. If you would rather have controller lobbies and aim assist, use the controller natively and stop the preset.

Download

Open a downloaded preset with InputConfig, or drag it onto the app icon. It lands in the sidebar, ready to activate or edit. Any launch target inside a preset file is cleared on import; add one yourself in the editor if you want it.
