The layout, control by control
How the layout thinks
- Move and look. The left stick moves and the right stick orbits the camera, which is the mouse. The left stick click runs (Shift).
- Confirm and cancel. Confirm (Enter) is the right trigger and the bottom face button. Cancel (Escape) is the left trigger and the right face button.
- Act. Action and interact (E) are the left face button, and the playlist and party display (Y) the top.
- Camera. The left bumper is first-person view (F), the right bumper resets the camera (R), and the right stick click resizes the minimap (G).
- D-pad. Up is party chat (1), down mounts the Street Surfer (Q), and left and right step through the playlist (X and V).
- Menus. The map (Tab) is on Create and the pause menu (F1) on Options.
Confirm and cancel are on both the triggers and the face buttons, so any grip works.
Tune it
- Skip. Put the cutscene skip key on a chord.
- Camera. Lower the camera rows from 18 and 14 to about 14 and 10.
A calmer camera suits a game you spend mostly walking around Hawaii.
If the stream passes your controller
Xbox Cloud Gaming nearly always hands the game your pad, and the game has full controller support. Keep this preset off then, or every press reaches the game twice. If confirm works with the preset off, Ichiban already has your pad.
If your controller is not working in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth
When Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth does not react to your controller on a Mac, climb this ladder, smallest step first:
- Check that the Mac sees the controller. Open the gamepad tester and press a button. If nothing lights up there, the problem is the connection, and a controller that is connected but not working covers that first.
- Press a button after the stream has started. A stream only picks up a controller that is paired with the Mac, and a browser shows a controller to a page only after a button press. Button names follow the Xbox / PlayStation pair shown in the editor, so A / Cross is the bottom face button on either pad. On a Switch Pro Controller the bottom button is labeled B; the mapping still fires on position.
