Built-in preset

Variable Sensitivity preset

A showcase preset: both sticks move the pointer, the right with the Smooth curve and the left with Aggressive. Move each and feel the difference; then open the rows to see the setting.

Compare the two response curves by moving each stick at the same depth

Where it is in the app

It ships inside InputConfig: open the sidebar and look in its folder, or search for it. Activate it, or press Edit to see every row. It is also here as a file, identical apart from being inactive and ungrouped, for anyone who deleted theirs or wants it on another Mac.

9 rows. Button names are the Xbox / PlayStation pair the editor shows; a Switch Pro Controller fires by position. Options are the row settings that differ from the defaults.

Notes

Smooth is the curve for pointing and for hands that shake; Aggressive is for games where reaching full speed quickly matters. Linear is the third choice and the one for MIDI and scrolling.

Download

Open a downloaded preset with InputConfig, or drag it onto the app icon. It lands in the sidebar, ready to activate or edit. Any launch target inside a preset file is cleared on import; add one yourself in the editor if you want it.
