Built-in preset

MIDI: Transport Control preset

Hardware transport control from a controller: A sends MIDI Start, B sends Stop, X sends Continue, and Y sends a Program Change to recall a patch. Transport messages are real-time MIDI, so any DAW that follows external transport responds.

A = Start, B = Stop, X = Continue, LB/RB = patch up/down

Where it is in the app

It ships inside InputConfig: open the sidebar and look in its folder, or search for it. Activate it, or press Edit to see every row. It is also here as a file, identical apart from being inactive and ungrouped, for anyone who deleted theirs or wants it on another Mac.

7 rows. Button names are the Xbox / PlayStation pair the editor shows; a Switch Pro Controller fires by position. Options are the row settings that differ from the defaults.

Notes

For DAWs that ignore MIDI transport, replace the outputs with keyboard shortcuts (Space, Return, R) and the preset works the same from the outside. The control surface guide has a full remote layout.

Download

Open a downloaded preset with InputConfig, or drag it onto the app icon. It lands in the sidebar, ready to activate or edit. Any launch target inside a preset file is cleared on import; add one yourself in the editor if you want it.
