Built-in preset

MIDI: Drum Pad preset

Four face buttons as four drum pads on MIDI channel 10, the General MIDI drum channel, so any DAW drum kit answers without mapping. Turbo is on for every pad: tap for a hit, hold for a roll at the turbo rate.

Face buttons = drum kit pieces with turbo (hold for rolls), triggers = cymbals

Where it is in the app

It ships inside InputConfig: open the sidebar and look in its folder, or search for it. Activate it, or press Edit to see every row. It is also here as a file, identical apart from being inactive and ungrouped, for anyone who deleted theirs or wants it on another Mac.

Notes

Set the turbo rate to match the tempo: 8 presses a second is sixteenth notes at 120 BPM. Haptics pulse on each hit so the roll is felt in the hands.

Download

Open a downloaded preset with InputConfig, or drag it onto the app icon. It lands in the sidebar, ready to activate or edit. Any launch target inside a preset file is cleared on import; add one yourself in the editor if you want it.
