Deadzone Calibration preset
This preset ships inside InputConfig, free on the Mac App Store. You don't have to make an account, there are no subscriptions, and nothing is locked. Optimized for Apple silicon.
In this showcase preset, the right stick has a wide Deadzone and a Full push at that reaches full output early. The left stick is tight. Move each and see how much travel does nothing and where full speed arrives. Press Adjust live on a row for the live plot.

Where it is in the app
It ships inside InputConfig: open the sidebar and look in its folder, or search for it. Activate it, or press Edit to see every row. It is also here as a file, identical apart from being inactive and ungrouped, for anyone who deleted theirs or wants it on another Mac.

9 rows. Button names are the Xbox / PlayStation pair the editor shows; a Switch Pro Controller fires by position. Options are the row settings that differ from the defaults.
Notes
- Numbers for a tremor. The right stick's settings are close to what suits a hand tremor or a stick with limited travel. The tremor guide starts from numbers like these.
- The live plot. Press Adjust live on a row to watch where the stick rests and where full speed arrives.
A wider deadzone trades a little travel for a pointer that stays put.

To add a downloaded preset: drop the file on InputConfig's Dock icon, or click the … button next to any preset in the sidebar, choose Import Preset File, and pick the file. It lands in the sidebar, ready to activate or edit. Any launch target inside a preset file is cleared on import; add one yourself in the editor if you want it.
