Statistics
The Statistics sheet, from the chart icon at the top of the window or the menu bar, shows lifetime usage: how long a controller has been connected, how long a preset has been active, and how much output the app has sent on your behalf. It is stored in a small file in the app's own folder and never leaves the Mac.
What is counted
Time with a controller connected, time with a preset active, total button presses seen, keystrokes sent, mouse clicks sent, MIDI events sent, mouse motion in pixels, scroll ticks, touchpad finger updates, macros executed, preset activations, and the number of days tracked. Below the tiles is a chart of the presets you activate most.
Why it is useful
For someone using the app as their main input, the numbers are a record of how much work the setup is doing: a week of keystrokes sent from a controller is a week the keyboard was not needed. For tuning, the top-presets chart shows which layouts deserve the most care. Reset Statistics starts the counts over.
Privacy
The file is stats.json in the app's data folder. Nothing is transmitted; the app makes no network connections at all.
Questions
Does it count input from the Mac keyboard?
Only when a keyboard row in a running preset matches; the app does not count keystrokes it is not mapping.
